Everyone likes to follow Jesus when it is fun.  But fun is not really a primary consideration when it comes to the Christian life.  Christmas has a nicely put together exterior, but is quite often a season where struggles abound.  The point is not to make everything perfect but to recognize and welcome the hope of the world, who even himself arrived in dark and difficult circumstances.  Your Christmas may look and feel like a big, beautiful, expensive Christmas Tree.  Or your Christmas may be a little more bare, like a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.
