Every August we do something that for many is their favorite moment in the year… we celebrate with those who have dedided to go public with their faith through the waters of baptism!  It is amazing to see so many cheer from the shore of the river as others make this eternity altering declaration.  But baptism is so much more than a meaningful, annual event.  It is a powerful answer to the question God is asking of all humanity… Can I get a witness?  Will you accept my sacrifice for your sin?  Will you live for me?  Will you live in the power of my spirit?  Will you stand up for me publicly for all to see?  God is look for a witness… have you answered the call?
