Scripture — Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

Read the verse slowly.

REFLECT
What are you trying to figure out or control right now? Where is God asking you to trust Him?

RESPOND
Name that situation before God and surrender it to Him.

REST
Take a slow breath and say: “I trust You.”

PRAYER
Lord, I don't understand everything, but I trust You. Help me release what I cannot control and rest in Your faithfulness. Amen.

There is no need to rush through these four steps.

Some days you may spend ten minutes. Other days you may spend twenty. Some days the Scripture may feel powerful and personal. Other days it may seem quiet.

That's okay!

The goal isn't to finish the devotional.

The goal is to meet with God.
