REFLECT
Are you giving God enough quiet space to speak? What might you need to stop doing so you can listen?

RESPOND
Tell God that you are willing to listen—even if His answer isn't what you expected.

REST
Spend a few moments in silence. Don't fill the silence. Simply listen.

PRAYER
Lord, speak. My heart is listening. Give me ears to hear You and courage to respond when You do. Amen.

There is no need to rush through these four steps.

Some days you may spend ten minutes. Other days you may spend twenty. Some days the Scripture may feel powerful and personal. Other days it may seem quiet.

That's okay!

The goal isn't to finish the devotional.

The goal is to meet with God.
