So many people get into trouble because they do not take their necessary medications as prescribed. They feel a little better so they back things off. They forget. And before long they are struggling with the ailment that medicine was designed to keep in check. Consistency matters more than most people realize. No matter how bad an elixir may taste or how challenging the issue of obedience may be, staying on the path and following Jesus daily is essential.
