Take Your Pick

There tends to be three ways we act as part of a larger body.  We can seem supportive, but disappear any time there is actual work to be done.  We can show up and go through the motions begrudgingly with our hearts and minds largely disengaged.  Or we can love being part of things and choose to be "all in."  While all of us in different ways fall into every category, the reality that we are going to wrestle with and embrace is that we each get to decide which way we function in absolutely every area of life.  So watch this fun and challenging series and Take Your Pick!

    JUNE 24, 2018

In the final week of the series, Rob Paterson & Roy Templeman reveal what's behind the red door.

Nothing is ever perfect.  There are always plenty of reasons to complain.  But don’t you just love the kinds of people who are always able to find and see the good in things?  The ones who are happy to be part of anything and everything?  The ones whom being around is encouraging and life giving every single time?  You may not realize it and you may not want to, but this way of living in every area of life is a choice that we can all pick!  Attitude is never overrated, and optimism is never fake, especially when we are talking about the greatest gift ever!  Let's be all in!

    father's day, 2018

Guest pastor Andy Holt shares his story of hope amidst great loss.

For anyone who has children, the thought of losing them is one of the most difficult realities to even consider, let alone live through.  Our kids teach us so much about life, and priorities, and the kind of love that God has for us.  On Father’s Day 2018 Pastor Andy Holt is going to be with us and share the story of how his son, Zeke, died at the age of four of a rare neurological disorder called Batten Disease.  What would you pick if the worst happened in your life or family?  Would you choose anger?  Would you choose to shut down?  Or would you choose life and faith?  Come let this family’s story minister to you!

    JUNE 10, 2018

This week Rob Paterson & Roy Templeman reveal what's behind the blue door.

So you’ve come to the conclusion that you don’t want to contribute to anyone’s death.  You feel bad for not doing more than you have, and so you’re ready to do the right thing, albeit driven by guilt and with a bit of a bad attitude.  We’ve all been there.  It is in moments like this where we hear a spouse say, “I don’t just want you to do that, I want you to want to do that!”  What do we do when we find ourselves just going through the motions?  Should we quit if that is all we are doing?  Let's discover if the blue door is better than the yellow.

    June 3, 2018

Rob Paterson & Roy Templeman team up to bring us an important message about how our choices indirectly impact others in our church.

Relationships are almost never 50/50.  But so many times, even as we volunteer at church, they can creep into the danger zone of 100/0.  The end result of this type of relationship, no matter where we find it, is that one person carries more than is realistically possible for far too long until they burn out.  We are all susceptible to this reality and can all contribute to this unhealthiness in others as well.  The question is, which door will you choose?
