This week Pastor Rob speaks plainly about the obsession many seem to have with 'what happened in the beginning' and 'what happens at the end'.
What happened in the beginning and how long did it take? What is going to happen in the end? These are two areas that many people find incredibly interesting. While the Bible says less than we wish about these two subjects, the speculation and predictions are endless. We are going to learn what the scholarship overwhelmingly suggests, and how these ideas should impact our daily lives.

We like to think that the Bible is entirely black and white, but as we have seen even this past year, there are also shades of gray. This marriage issue is one confusing subject, and the waters have gotten even muddier in the past months. Are we locked in forever, or are there biblical loopholes that allow us to escape?

This is a question that we all want and need to know the answer too. Sure, Jesus is the key for us to get into Heaven, but is there any other fine print that might trip us up? If I believe in Jesus, can my sinful actions still mess it all up and keep me out? If I’ve got it, can I lose it?

This week Pastor Rob wrestles with the idea that we often want to hear what we think more than the truth.
I think we have all gone to certain people to talk about things because we knew that they would tell us what we wanted to hear. It is easier. It is the path of least resistance. This series is not going to be that! If you are only interested in having your position strengthened, this may be a difficult series for you. We are not going to lie just to make anyone happy. We are going to share the truth with grace and love.
